The song that I chose to remix this month was "My Own" by Little Chicago's Finest. I picked the song because of the truth in the lyrics. It's basically talking about how thing's didn't work out with a girl, and how much better off they are now without her.
I was trying to find a sound that would fit the lyrics to the song without changing the feeling around too much. In other words, I wanted the song to still sound like a hip-hop song.

I decided to play Drummer myself, and I think I did exceptionally well. This was my first take at it other than beating on desk and walls.
